I created Sleepless Nights Films, a production company. I work with my friend, Robby Coles, who has HIS own production company, New World Productions. Together we are the dynamic duo of the movie business here in Nashville, Tennessee. :)
Our months have been filled with fundraisers for Kids in Character, Inc., a not for profit production company that creates films based on real life issues (such as eating disorders, teen suicide, bullying) and offering resolution to teens and children. These movies, once completed, then have a curriculum created so the films are shown in schools across the country. Robby is the founder. I sit on the board of directors.
But NOW!!!!
We are back to filming and I am SO happy!!!!
I have written a script entitled, THE CALL CENTER and I am very pleased with it. It's a strong ensemble piece and we are casting for leads next week. Robby is actually one of the leads. I am producing. Ann Cates is directing. I cannot wait to see the finished product. This is one of the best scripts I have ever written. THE CALL CENTER will travel the festival route. :)
In addition to my short film, Robby and I have also created two web series, and we star in them. The first one is called PEOPLE WATCHING WITH JAMES. All I can say is, hilarious!!! I'll post a link as soon as we have the series up and going. We begin filming next week.
The other series, I star in. It's called GREEN GIRL and is about an environmentalist who takes things way to far. I hear I will be in all green and may have a cape. I'll keep you posted.
So that is what is up with me. If there are ever long breaks in time, believe me it is not because I'm lazy! I love what I do and am so grateful to everyone I have met along the way. I would never be doing what I love without these amazing open doors.
